Future Garage music sounds awesome. It's usually chill.

According to this:

Dubstep - Dark, slow, dank, gritty, sometimes soulful offshoot of UK garage. The music derives much of its influence from Jamaican dub music. It may bore folks looking for big beats and drops, but those attributes aren't what this music is all about.

Brostep - the ADHD meatheaded opposite of dubstep. This is the music with big beats and drops, and relies on the same short-term shock factor and insta-gratifying appeal of pop music. It's rhythmic and percussive structure is more akin to pop rap. Kids and young adults tend to love brostep although they unaware of its name, and commonly mistake it "dubstep" out of bad habit.

UK Garage - The United Kingdom's answer to the USA's New York garage house. Heavily inspired by R&B music combined with the percussive nature of breakbeat music or house music. Unlike NY garage, UK garage is much less disco influenced.

2-step Garage - Practically the same as UK Garage, except that it relies more on the rhythmic and percussive structure of jungle/drum'n'bass than either house or breakbeat music

Grime - Another offshoot of UK Garage, but it has a irregular percussive pattern and more hip hop influenced. Dirty lyrics included. A distant cousin to dubstep, but dubstep is nonlyrical.

Future Garage - Basically what happened when dubstep got mashed into the ground when brostep stole its Olympic torch, the producers returned to the old soulful roots of UK/2-step Garage. It is modern UK Garage, basically.

Dub - A mostly slower and nonlyrical version raggae and dancehall. It is music that one would just lounge around with and smoke a blunt to...Real "Jamaican-like". It is music that inspired many others that came after it, with its slow, trippy, tropical feel.

What are some good music artists to check out? Doesn't really matter the genre as long as it's catchy. XD
